Q. What is StoryBox?

StoryBox is a place to share stories about anything and everything: memories, rants, raves, burning issues, personal experience. It is a place to capture all the stories and conversations that are often lost in everyday life and share them with your friends and family.

Q. Do I have to create an account to view stories?

No, you can enjoy StoryBox purely as a spectator and you can view stories without opening an account.

Q. Is there a limit to the number of stories I can submit?

At present there is no limit to the number of stories you can summit but there is a limit to the number of images you can upload at each submission.

Q. How do I add my stories?

Q. To add a story, you will need to go to the �submit story� section to open a story submission page. Your story can be added in the form of text, images or both. You can write your text directly into your �submit story� page or you can copy and paste it from an existing document. If you want to add images, you will have to save them on to the computer you are using and add them using the browse function.

Q. Can anybody comment on my stories?

Anyone who has a StoryBox account can respond to your stories with their own related stories.

Q. Can I delete or edit stories once they are posted?

Yes, simply navigate to one of your stories and follow the edit story link, from here you can amend your story, or chose to delete it, you must be logged in to do perform this action.

Q. How quickly does my story appear once I submit it?

It will appear immediately for all to see!.

Q. Can everyone see my age, real name and email address in my profile?

No, only you can see your profile details. Only your username will appear publicly.

Q. What are these tag things?

Tags are everywhere now, they are a great way for finding stories, the more tags you you add the greater the chance of your story being found by someone else. Tag are simple to add just follow these few guidelines and you shouldn'y go wrong.

• Your tags are public. Everyone will be able to see them!
• Tags are space-separated. Use "bigbrother", not "big brother".
• Keep your tags brief.
• We provide a few example tags for you. Use them if you like.
• Tags must be all-lowercase, no punctuation. Numbers can appear but can't be first. Smoosh them up: for "Web 2.0", tag "web20". Max 64 chars.
• Avoid plurals when possible: "harddrive", not "harddrives".

Q. I have concerns about something I've seen on the site. What can I do?

If you come across something or someone on StoryBox that is causing you concern, please contact us. When you send us your report, we need as much detail as you can give us (like links to stories). We will review against the Terms of Use and our Community Guidelines, and take appropriate action as required.
