The "Sir Walter Scott" which is still sailing on Loch Katrine was built the same way by being pre-fabricated (I think in Bowling) before being carried overland to be assembled in The Trossachs. Does anyone know if the Maid of the Loch on Loch Lomond was built the same way?

The yellow kettle was a show piece for the 1990's Glasgow Garden festival. It was a large shiny yellow steel kettle. Large enough to accommodate around 20-30 people inside. My dad worked on creating this over sized kitchen appliance. It was one of his last projects before his shipyard (more...)
