Why we're here

We are Aoife and Cathryn. Founders of StoryBox.

StoryBox happened when we became parents. Busy, busy, busy parents. Suddenly, our lives were full of kids. Curious, spirited, imaginative, gorgeous kids. There seemed to always be one special milestone or birthday to celebrate. But finding the time for thoughtful gift giving was not always easy.

What’s more, we became increasingly frustrated by the fact that convenient gifts for children were not always:

environmentally conscious or ethically produced
high quality
books or books that weren’t classics or best sellers.

We felt that there should be one place you could go, in a rush, to find a prepackaged selection of environmentally conscious and educational gifts for kids. So we decided to launch StoryBox in 2024. The only site you need to find the perfect gift for the kids who read in your life.
